Welcome

On behalf of our faculty and staff, I want to extend a warm welcome to all parents and prospective students to our school. Founded in 1848, MSB is proud of its legacy in providing a quality education for children and youth with visual impairments or blindness from across the state. Our school's rich history inspires us to continue to deliver exemplary services for the success of each student. Our fully-accredited school provides a strong foundation for learning and independence. We endeavor to equip our students with the skills and confidence needed to live happy, productive lives. The entire faculty and staff at MSB are dedicated to ensuring that all students achieve their maximum potential. We strive to make learning fun and meaningful by engaging students in many "hands-on" activities, problem-solving opportunities and a wide range of other educational experiences. In addition, our students can participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as band, choral music, cheerleading, performing arts, track and field, wrestling, and more. We invite you to experience our dynamic learning environment for yourselves. If you are interested in scheduling a tour of the campus, call us toll free at 888-672-1848 or locally at 601-984-8200. We look forward hearing from you.
